Belinda Nelson Review at University Of Leeds, Leeds | Collegedunia

University of Leeds - honest review

This was one of the few business schools with AAA accreditation and there was high employability rate.

Course Curriculum :

There syllabus is not very challenging. They start teaching from the basics so you get a clear idea of the concepts. You also learn the practical application of each so you know what you have to do with it.

Exams :

IELTS - Overall score of 6.5 with minimum 6 points in each category (reading, writing, speaking)

Placement :

Right from the beginning of the academic year, the career centre guides us on all the opportunities available to us. We get e-mails every week on the vacancies. Based on past years, there’s a high employment rate for the students from my program.

Internship :

I start my internship in summer. For now all I can say is that there are loads of internship opportunities.

Fees :

GBP 29,750

Scholarship :

No

Faculty :

Faculty here are more like our friends. They’re really approachable. They provide excellent academic support, clear our doubts, follow up and always try to bring out the best in us. There is a 1:30 faculty student ratio.

Campus Life :

Infrastructure is great. The union provides a wide range of activities to get involved in throughout the term time. There’s always something for everyone’s interest. There are also about 200+ clubs and societies we can be a part of.

Hostel :

Accommodation ranges ranges from GBP 110-240 per week depending on the type of room we choose. University accommodation is expensive comparatively. So I’d suggest going cheaper options outside. Coz they more or less provide the same facilities.
