I really liked the course and the look of the university. Bath also has a very good reputation and does well in the university rankings. I liked the look of the sports clubs and feel of the SU too. The city is really pretty and near to Bristol for bigger nights out.
Course Curriculum
Really good, lots of interesting science and good mix of lectures, workshops, labs and placement opportunities but very high in content and contact hours making it very full on tiring and more draining than any of my flat mates courses.
Exams
ALevels biology A, chemistry B, textiles A, AS physics C. Internal University exams, year 1 average 71.
Placement
Lots of placement opportunities and help provides in applying and getting them. The university has very good connections and in my course we do several week placements over second thrid and fourth that they set up for us to gain further experience.
Fees
University tuition fees- student finance coverage, pay in instalment plans or all in one go is also possible. First year accommodation is taken over 3 payments
Examination Structure
Two sets of exams- one set in January and semester 2 exams in May after Easter. The exam structure is decent, some of the timetabling and extent of content required to know can be off putting but it's to be expected.
Faculty
Good facilities. Some buildings are more dated and need better upkeeping as make parts of campus look unimpressive. Accommodation has a wide range and lots of good places for food, work space and socialising
