- Students will learn to motivate people in the workplace and how to influence customers to purchase products and services.
- Students will have access to real-world business experiences and challenges with work placement opportunities to give them the confidence to put their learning into practice and gain essential contacts. Students have worked for companies such as Warner Bros, BMW, and British Heart Foundation. Students will shadow an entrepreneur, work with a corporate firm and gain experience as a shadow consultant at the Growth Hub, our business center at Oxstalls Campus.
- Students focus their degree on business or marketing or both. If they choose a business, Students will learn about managing people, projects and resources, finance, and HR. If students choose marketing, Students will learn how to connect brands and customers.
- Students will learn through lectures, seminars, group work, reflective practice, business simulations, problem-solving challenges, and presenting. In their first year, students will gain a solid grounding in all aspects of business and marketing including customer behavior, understanding organizations, and the global business environment. Students will then specialize in business, marketing, or both with subjects such as new business enterprise and e-interactivity and social media, depending on their career aspirations.
- Leading international brands and business figures will deliver lectures and give a real insight into how to succeed in business. Guests have included Superdry, whose marketing campaigns have seen the brand sell its products to over 100 countries worldwide. Students will analyze real-world case studies, take part in work simulations, and pitch their ideas to business experts. In student's final year, they will take part in an exciting business or marketing challenge with an international or UK brand.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students must have an official secondary school transcript to get admission.
- Students are required to maintain at least a 3.0 overall GPA.
- In addition, they also accept International Baccalaureate Diploma with a minimum of 26 points or Advanced Placement International Diploma with an average of Grade 3 or above for entry to undergraduate programs.
Indian Eligibility:
- Successful completion of Higher Secondary Certificate/Indian School Certificate/Standard XII with a minimum of 65% from CISCE and CBSE boards.
- To meet the University of Gloucestershire’s English language entry requirements, international students will need to have taken an English Proficiency test of IELTS/TOEFL or any equivalent test.
