Visa Process for International Students
UK Study Visa is granted on the basis of points-based system these days wherein CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance of Studies) plays an important role. Student has to obtain CAS from International student center if they have received an unconditional offer from university and is planning to accept the same.
- In next step student has to provide the CAS to British Consulate or High Commission while applying for a study visa to the UK.
- Student will be granted a Tier 4 General Student visa against scored points in these two fields:
- Points for the CAS.
- 10 points are awarded for the Maintenance and Funds Test.
(Student should have enough funds to pay the first year’s fees plus £9,135. The university would check proof of the same before issuing the CAS)
- Student should choose to study a full-time course, which has minimum of 15 hours per week; or a course including a work placement element, which is no more than 50% of the full course length.

Indian Applicants:

- 3 Year Degree with of score between 55-60% or a 4 -Year degree with a score between 50% and 55% will be offered PG diploma first and then upon completion can be enrolled for master courses.
Chinese Applicants:
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with a score of at least 75%
Pakistani Applicants:
- A 3 year UG degree along with a master’s degree.
- A 4 year UG degree with scores of 60%.
- A 2-3 Year degree with a score of 55% / 2.7 GPA along with a 1 or 2 Year Master’s Degree at with a score of 55%.
