The Bachelor of Arts in Film and Television Studies / Drama and Theatre at Aberystwyth University is a full-time 3 years program.
This joint Honours Film and Television Studies/Drama and Theatre degree is an exciting, diverse, and challenging program combining practical and theoretical approaches to the study of a broad spectrum of media and performing arts.
Students will encounter a wide range of practical and theoretical modules in film and television, covering everything from fiction to documentary, and from mainstream to experimental.
In addition, they will have the opportunity to explore a wide range of contemporary theatre practices from scripted drama to site-specific performance and from Shakespeare to experiments in new media.
They will be taught by leading researchers and experienced practitioners in a department that places an emphasis on intellectual development, technical proficiency and industry partnerships.
Across this three years of study, this course will prepare them for a variety of careers in the creative media, creative arts and beyond.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

A-Levels: BBB-CCC, plus satisfactory portfolio
GCSE requirements (minimum grade C/4): English or Welsh
BTEC National Diploma: DDM-MMM, plus satisfactory portfolio
International Baccalaureate: 30-26, plus satisfactory portfolio

Indian Eligibility:

Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:

Standard XII Certificate from recognized central or state board:75 % in year XII Std.

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
