- Mathematicians have taken up the challenges offered by other disciplines, and in so doing have often uncovered new branches of their own subject.
- This is especially true of computer science. This course aims to provide a mathematics degree with an emphasis on the computational aspects of the subject.
- It is supported by a range of topics designed to give an appreciation of computer science as a discipline. The split is two thirds mathematics and one third computer science.
