On our Film and Video Production Technology (Hons) programme offered by the University of SurreyÊyou will learn the fundamentals of science and engineering that underpin film and video technologies, gain practical experience of professional standard film-making and broadcasting, and produce creative and analytical work related to film, television and other creative art forms.
The technical aspects of your studies will cover the components that contribute to modern film-making and broadcasting, while the practical elements of the course will provide you with experience of industry standard equipment. They will also allow you to apply the technical theory to making high-quality films in a wide range of styles.
Examining the creative arts will develop your analytical skills and provide opportunities for detailed study of creative disciplines such as storyboarding and animatics, visual storytelling, and cinematography.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- 30-32 points overall from the full IB diploma
- Higher levels must include matematics with level 5
- For entry, one of mathematics analysis and approaches or mathematics applications and interpretation at higher level will be accepted
English Language Requirements:
- IELTS: 6.0 minimum overall with 5.5 in each subskill
- TOEFL IBT: minimum 80 overall with 17 in listening, 18 in reading, 20 in speaking and 17 in writing
- Duolingo: 120 overall with no component below 100
- PTE: minimum 59 overall with 59 in each skill
- CPE: minimum 169 overall with 162 in each section
Indian Student Specific Requirements:
- 80% from ISC Indian School of certificate of Education
- 80% from SSC All India Senior School Certificate Examination
- 80% HSC Higher Secondary Certificate
