Bachelor of Arts in Illustration at the University of The West of England is a 3 years program.

Students learn in a creative and supportive studio environment with professional-standard facilities and a focus on helping them gain real-world skills for the workplace.
BA(Hons) Illustration encourages students to create and develop their own personal visual language. Problem-solving through drawing and making is core.
Students explore a range of media and deepen their awareness of the ideas, concepts, and contexts of illustration through theoretical studies.
Teaching is mainly studio-based, with workshops, seminars, tutorials, and lectures.
All modules are assessed, and marks from modules undertaken in Year two and Final year can contribute to the final award.
Students are assessed through projects, essays, group presentations and visual presentation.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

GCSE: Grade C/4 in English Literature or Language, or equivalent.

Indian Student Eligibility:

Indian students are eligible to apply if they complete the following eligibility criteria:

Students should have a Higher Secondary School Certificate/Indian School Certificate (Standard XII) from boards such as CBSE/CISCE/WBCHSEB with 65% including grade C in at least five subjects.
Students with lower grades may be considered for entry onto a foundation degree.
Students should hold a 70% score in the English Language in Higher Secondary School Certificate/Indian School Certificate - Standard XII from CBSE/CISCE/WBCHSEB.

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/PTE or any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
