- Bachelor of Science in Radiotherapy and Oncology at the University of The West of England is a 3 years program.

- Radiotherapy provides the skills to safely use ionising radiation to cure cancer or give relief from symptoms. Therapeutic radiographers provide vital services and support to millions of people, using x-rays and other types of radiation.
- Lectures, practical sessions, Virtual Linear Accelerator (VERT) and Eclipse radiotherapy planning system training, experiments, student-led seminars, e-learning, guided self-study, and problem-based learning using scenarios and case studies, are used to develop their understanding and skills.
- Students are assessed using examinations, assignments, case studies, academic poster presentations, appraisals of clinical skills, student-led presentations, clinical portfolio, research study, Objective Structural Clinical Examinations (OSCE), and wikis.
- With a 14-week work placement each year, students will spend nearly half the course applying their knowledge and building professional skills in the workplace.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- UCAS Tariff points: 120
- GCSE: Grade C/4 or above in English Language or Literature, Mathematics and Double Science, or equivalent.
- A-level subjects: Grade C in a Science subject.
- Baccalaureate IB: A minimum Grade 5 in a Higher Level Science subject.
Indian Student Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they complete the following eligibility criteria:
- Students should have a Higher Secondary School Certificate/Indian School Certificate (Standard XII) from boards such as CBSE/CISCE/WBCHSEB with 65% including grade C in at least five subjects.
- Students with lower grades may be considered for entry onto a foundation degree.
- Students should hold a 70% score in the English Language in Higher Secondary School Certificate/Indian School Certificate - Standard XII from CBSE/CISCE/WBCHSEB.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/PTE or any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
