At The University of Hull studying the BEng Electronic Engineering you can choose to study for either a BEng or MEng degree; both offer the chance to study at one of our partner institutions abroad or gain professional experience in a work placement. We also offer a foundation year; ideal for students who have little or no background in sciences or mathematics but would like to study engineering.
Our Electronic Engineering degree gives you a strong foundation in the theory and practice of electronics. It equips you with the specialist engineering knowledge, practical know-how and range of professional skills to open up opportunities to highly rewarding careers. You will experience this technology in lectures, laboratory time and project work supported by industry-standard software used by engineers worldwide. You will also become familiar with engineering calculation software used by engineers and scientists.

Career prospects for engineering graduates continue to be excellent; many receive several firm offers of employment even before graduating. A report from industry body EngineeringUK highlighted a current annual shortfall of 55,000 skilled workers within the engineering sector in Britain.
