Sport and exercise psychology is a relatively new and increasingly popular area of applied psychology within the UK.
The DPsych Sport and Exercise Psychology is the only programme of its kind in Scotland, with a strong focus on developing outstanding therapeutic skills, inter-disciplinary learning, teaching and research.
Sport and exercise psychologists work in all areas of sport and exercise provision, especially professional and Olympic sports and increasing physical activity and exercise participation amongst the general population.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

Applicants must have a UK honours degree 2:1 (or equivalent) in Psychology that meets British Psychological Society (BPS) standards for the Graduate Basis for Chartership (GBC).

Indian Students Eligibility:

Applicants must have a degree in psychology from recognised institution with 60%.

Work Experience:

Relavent work experience is required.

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.
