University of Glasgow Scholarships for Undergraduate Programs
International students entering Glasgow’s undergraduate program are offered a limited number of scholarships. These too are awarded based on the student’s nationality.
For the academic year 2020-2021, Indian applicants will be considered for only three University of Glasgow scholarships for undergraduate programs.
Glasgow College of Science and Engineering Dean’s Award
Students from India, Pakistan, Thailand, USA, Egypt, Lebanon, and Nigeria, applying for a program within the College of Science and Engineering at Glasgow, are reviewed for this award.
Based on the admission applications, 10 Glasgow College of Science and Engineering Dean’s Award recipients get GBP 10,000 each towards the program tuition fees. Selections are primarily based on academic merit and personal achievement.
Note: Students must note that Glasgow College of Science and Engineering Dean’s Award is applicable for the postgraduate programs as well.
Glasgow Faster Route International Excellence Scholarships
Available to international students with admission offer (conditional or unconditional) to Glasgow’s Computing Science & Software Engineering program. Faster Route International Excellence Scholarships recipients, selected after the evaluation of admission application, are awarded GBP 5,000 each.
This scholarship is also open for students enrolling in a master-level program in these fields of study.
Glasgow Undergraduate Excellence Scholarships
A total of 100 Glasgow Undergraduate Excellence Scholarships are offered to international students commencing their studies in 2020. It is awarded as a tuition fee discount of GBP 5,000 per academic year, depending on recipient’s satisfactory academic progress.
Like all other two University of Glasgow Scholarships for undergraduate programs, this scholarship too doesn’t require any additional application form.
University of Glasgow Scholarships for Postgraduate Programs
Postgraduate program students are also offered a limited number of University of Glasgow scholarships and are country-specific. At present, Indian students are offered 12 postgraduate scholarships, of which, 9 are awarded by the university (faculty-specific) and 3 are awarded by external sources.
Talking about the university-funded scholarships, decisions are based on academic performance of the incoming students. For all these University of Glasgow scholarships, students will be auto-considered and should have achieved minimum cumulative 1st division or higher, throughout the duration of program.

Along with these scholarships, the University of Glasgow scholarships 2020 also include Scotland’s Saltire Scholarship. This is offered to students who enroll in full-time relevant one-year postgraduate taught masters program, for September 2020.
Recipients of Scotland’s Saltire Scholarship are awarded GBP 8,000 to cover tuition fees. The scholarship requires a separate application form, which must be completed before June 1, 2020.

All three scholarships will cover the recipient’s tuition fee at Glasgow and offer them a travel and accommodation allowance to stay in the UK. I didn't apply for this particular scholarship, along with the application you will be automatically enrolled for some of the scholarship from University.
