The Marine Biology and Oceanography degree atÊBangor University combines detailed study of life in the sea, from the smallest bacteria to the largest mammals, with a specialised understanding of their physical and chemical environments: the currents, tides and waves, and the biogeochemical interactions within the atmosphere, ocean and sea floor.

There is also a 4-year Master of Marine Science option available. In Year 4 of the Master of Marine Science, you will carry out a substantial piece of research which forms your Year 4 dissertation.
