This Sports Science programme from the University of Greenwich provides educational opportunities for sports-orientated candidates. The first year provides a foundation in sports science with the focus on the development of key skills and an appropriate knowledge base for the subject area. You will study a range of topics and also engage in a variety of practical activities that support, integrate and develop theoretical and skills-based experience.

The second year builds on the knowledge and skills developed and progresses to more advanced study. Practical classes form a significant part of the programme in the second year. Students in the final year may select options that enable them to follow their own particular interests.

The aims of the programme are:

• To provide you with a knowledge of sports nutrition, biomechanics, anatomy, physiology and psychology as well as sports performance analysis
