The MA Advertising and Design provides students with an excellent opportunity to develop skills in design and visual communications whilst allowing them to acquire a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of practices and principles in marketing and advertising.
Taught collaboratively by the School of Design and Leeds University Business School one of the world’s top 100 business schools they will take a creative approach to solve communication problems in advertising and branding.
Students will develop their own practice, collaborate with other designers and gain an enhanced understanding of how design can convey a brand message, using a range of software and techniques.
At the end of the program, students will submit a substantial project that demonstrates the knowledge and skills that they have gained. They can either complete a dissertation an independent research project on a related topic of their choice or develop a communication campaign concept of their own

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

Students must have a bachelor's degree with a 2:1 (Hons) or equivalent qualification in art or design (such as graphics, photography, film studies), psychology, marketing, business, English, sociology, or philosophy.
Students require a portfolio of recent practical work.

Indian Student Eligibility:

Students must have completed 3-4 year’s bachelor’s degree with 60%.

Language Requirments:

Students whose official language is not English are required to submit IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE scores.
