This programme takes a variety of approaches to drama and literary studies, taught through theoretical and practical modules. You'll examine the practice of performance, read texts from a broad spectrum of genres and periods, and learn to think about texts and performances in their political, cultural and historical contexts.
In your first year youÕll approach reading in ways you may not have experienced before, and youÕll be introduced to performance modes through practice and theory. Your second and third years will give you access to a diverse range of modules, allowing you to personalise your English and Drama degree and study the topics that most interest you.
