Taught jointly by Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry and the School of Biological and Chemical Sciences, this programme brings together core strengths of both departments. YouÕll be taught by leading experts in every discipline, and have access to the labs, IT resources and libraries of each school.
YouÕll build a strong foundation in biomedical science, including neuroanatomy, physiology, biochemistry, molecular biology, genetics and pharmacology. In the final year, youÕll choose from modules covering stem cells, the repair and regeneration of the nervous system, perspectives on brain disorders and cognitive neuroscience.
Final-year students can undertake their own laboratory-based research project or work with an existing research group at Queen Mary.
