The BA (Hons) English Studies degree at Teesside University develops knowledge of classic and contemporary texts, genres, and periods ranging from 18th-century and Victorian literature to contemporary literature and culture.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

A typical offer is 96-112 tariff points from at least two A levels (or equivalent).

Indian Student Eligibility:

Applicants must have:

Standard XII – 65% minimum from all state boards.
Diploma from the State Board of Technical Education with 60% minimum (including MEng).
Holders of the International Baccalaureate Diploma with 28 points or more will be considered for direct admission to Bachelor degree courses.

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.
