This is a four year course in which youÕll have the opportunity to focus on topics which suit your interests and aspirations and develop your chemical knowledge and laboratory skills. YouÕll also develop a range of important transferable skills such as critical thinking, problem solving, communication skills, and the ability to conduct cutting-edge research.Ê
In years one and two, practical chemistry is taught in our modern teaching laboratories with industry standard equipment. In the third year, you will carry out a research project to develop your research skills as well as several taught modules, including a synoptic module to consolidate your chemistry knowledge.Ê
Fourth year lectures and seminars cover research focused material, and youÕll undertake a major research project in your chosen area of chemistry, working in the research laboratories and using state of the art instrumentation.
