- To become a chartered accountant students will need to satisfy the requirements of professional accounting bodies. Our course is designed specifically with their requirements in mind, in order to maximise the number of exemptions from their exams. Currently the course has 42 individual exemptions across six of the worldÕs largest professional bodies.
- The exemptions mean students will be able to enter the job market having already undertaken a significant portion of their professional qualification.
- The course is covered by the prestigious AACSB accreditation for Newcastle Business School, which was Business School of the Year at the Times Higher Education Awards 2015. We’re also undergoing a full re-accreditation process with EPAS who require some of the highest levels of relevance, rigour and internationalisation.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students need a high school degree or equivalent from a recognized institution. or
- Students can provide A-level, BTEC Diplomas/Extended Diplomas, Scottish and Irish Highers, Access to HE Diplomas, or the International Baccalaureate.
Indian Student Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Students need a Standard XII/Class XII from CBSE, CISC with 65% and above.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.
