You will develop knowledge and understanding of the historical roots of marketing communications, advertising, and public relations with a particular focus on contemporary and cutting-edge digital media practices and communications such as Facebook, Twitter, blogs, mobile apps in order to enhance your future career prospects, as well as the context in which it takes place; critical of existing practice and innovative, strategic, and creative in your own practice.ÊIn year three youÕll have the opportunity to put theory into practice as you complete a work placement anywhere in the world, giving you the chance to make great career contacts and bolster your blossoming resume. In year four youÕll complete a dissertation, and craft your own curriculum as you select units to suit your interests and, ultimately, your career aspirations.
