Throughout your degree, youÕll learn the essential theoretical framework and hone your practical skills by producing copy, bulletins and broadcast packages in newsrooms and digital studios, which replicate professional working environments. To put your new skills into practice, youÕll also have the opportunity to complete either two short placements or a 30-week placement in industry Ð making professional contacts and gaining insight into how the sector operates.Ê

Students who take all the exams will graduate with an NCTJ Diploma in Journalism and the students who achieve AÐC and 100 words per minute in shorthand will graduate with a Gold Standard NCTJ Diploma.
