Students gain an in-depth understanding of the theory and practice of data science and its application in different organizational contexts.
Students will be provided with a set of fundamental principles that support the ethical extraction of information and knowledge from data. Case studies will help to show the practical application of these principles to real-life problems.
The program is centered on three key aspects of data science fundamental data-related principles, supporting infrastructures and organizational context.
Students will gain practical skills in handling structured and unstructured data, analyzing and visualizing data, and data mining, as well as gaining hands-on experience of software tools used and their use in real-world settings.
They will gain the skills of a data manager who understands what the algorithms (e.g., for data mining or handling ‘big data’) can do and when to use them for the benefit of the organisation.

Academic Eligibility

Students must hold a minimum 2:1 honours degree in a numerate discipline (computer science, mathematics, economics, engineering, physics, chemistry).
Submission of IELTS, TOEFL, and PTE test scores is required to get admission to this program.

Indian Student Eligibility:

A three-year bachelor's degree with a minimum of 60% or first-class from a reputable university will be considered for direct admission to a taught master's program.
A four-year bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or technology degrees with a minimum of 60% or first-class from a reputable university.
