The University of Stirling MSc Investment Analysis has a world-class reputation and is the UK’s longest-established postgraduate course in the field. It is also one of very few masters degrees in the UK to be recognised under the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Institute University Affiliation Program. In this Masters course students will:
- study the use of qualitative and quantitative techniques to value investments
- develop and evaluate portfolio management strategies
- cultivate the ability to extract essential information from financial reports
- understand risk management tools
- assess macroeconomic and market trends
- analyse financial data relating to investments
- learn about the techniques used to value investments and to develop and evaluate investment portfolios

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students must hold a minimum of a second class honours degree or equivalent in a relevant subject.
- Applicants without the formal qualifications but with significant appropriate work experience are encouraged to apply.
- In addition, students with professional qualifications such as The Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Level 1 are also encourage to apply.
- Students must be qualified in IELTS or TOEFL or PTE to get admission in this program.
Indian Student Eligibility:
- Students must complete their bachelors degree from a recognized university.
- Students must complete their graduation with 50% from Tier 1 College/ University
(namely University of Mumbai, University of Calcutta, University of Delhi) or graduating with 55% from a Tier 2 College/University.
