Dibrugarh University B.Pharm Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria required to study the B. Pharm course are as follows:
- Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Science stream from Assam Higher Secondary Council or a recognised board, securing a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate with Physics, Chemistry and Biology
- There is a 5% relaxation for students belonging to reserved categories.
OR
- Two-Year Diploma in Pharmacy Examination of Assam or of any other Institution which is recognised by the Pharmacy Council of India and AICTE securing 50% marks in the aggregate.

Dibrugarh University B.Pharm Course Details
The program is spread over eight semesters with each semester being of six months. For the B.Pharm course, examination and evaluation are done on a continuous basis throughout each semester. The weightage is given as 60% marks of each Theory and Practical paper in a semester allotted to End-Semester Examination and 40% marks are allotted to In-Semester Examination/ Assessment. End-Semester Examination is held at the end of each Semester. Course work includes both Theory and Practicals. Theory consists of lectures and/or tutorials, and Practicals consist of hours spent in the lab. The total credits are 209 and the minimum credit points required to be awarded a B. Pharm. degree is 208. Students need to complete a compulsory project work in their last semester to be awarded 12 credit units. 1 credit unit is allotted for extracurricular activities.
