Master of Veterinary Science [MVSc] (Veterinary Surgery and Radiology) From LUVAS, Hisar

Admissions will be done on the basis of entrance exam.

For M.V.Sc, candidate with 60% marks or 6.0 CGPA out of 10 in B.V.Sc. in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry is eligible to apply. For Ph.D. program, candidate with 70% marks or 7.0 CGPA out of 10 in M.V.Sc. in relevant discipline is eligible to apply.

For M.V.Sc, candidate must have completed internship of Bachelor’s program and notification issued up to the date of counselling. For Ph.D, candidate must have passed B.V.Sc. and viva-voce examination with Master’s program.

Candidate are selected on the basis of merit in the entrance examination conducted by the university and weightage. Admission of NRI and Foreign Nationals will be given on the basis of documents received through the competent authority.  Last date to apply for admission is Last week of May, 2018. Admit card shall be available at the college during the period of availability of admission form.

For Master's Programs, LUVAS offers a full-time Master of Veterinary Science course. The course details are as follows:

LUVAS M.V.Sc. Eligibility Criteria 

• Candidate having B.V.Sc. & A.H. degree from an institute/college recognized by VCI with minimum 60%marks or 6 OGPA are eligible to appear in the entrance examination.
• Candidates must have completed an internship during the course of their undergraduate degree.
• The minimum qualifying marks in the Entrance Test for the candidates is 50% (47.5% for the SC candidates).
• Kashmiri migrants will be provided 10% relaxation in the minimum cut off marks.

LUVAS M.V.Sc Selection Criteria

• The selection of M.V.Sc. program will be based on the entrance test (ET) conducted by the University. 
• The seats will be provided based on merit, weightage and seat availability.
• Candidates will have to appear in the counseling.

Exam Pattern-

• Medium of the test shall be English only.
• All the questions will be of multiple choice types.
• There will be no negative marking.
