Berhampur University B.Ed Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admission to the B.Ed. course offered at Berhampur University shall fulfill the following eligibility criteria for admission:

• Candidates from Science/Non-science graduates must have 50% aggregate percentage as a general category candidate and 45% aggregate in the field of reserved category candidates. Candidates must have passed two subjects in graduation worth 200 marks.
• Candidates who have completed a Master’s degree are also eligible for admission into the course.
• Candidates having Bachelors in Engineering or Technology with 55% as a general category candidate and 50% aggregate as a reserved category candidate are also eligible.
• Candidates from science background must have studied two school subjects out of Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Computer Science and Geography.
• Arts graduated must have studied one of the subjects from English, Odia, Hindi, Sanskrit and the second subjects from History, Geography, Economics, and Political Science in class 12.
