Ph.D. (Life Science) From North Orissa University, Baripada

Aspirants seeking admission into this course should have passed Graduation in the relevant stream from a recognised university.

The University offers a one year degree programme of M.Phil for students who have completed their post graduation.

North Orissa University MPhil Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates with a good academic career securing at least 55% (in case of SC / ST candidates 50%) marks or equivalent grade at Master's Degree in the respective subject from any recognized university.
• Candidates qualifying UGC CSIR NET / GATE / SLET test and awardees of Teacher Fellowship (TF) from UGC are exempted from the Entrance Exam only.
• Candidates who have already submitted a Ph.D. thesis or been awarded Ph.D. degree cannot apply.

North Orissa University MPhil Selection Criteria

• Admission shall be made on merit basis of their performance in the Entrance Test and Interview.
• Questions will be set from course content of the respective subject at the post graduation level.
• The intake may vary depending upon the availability of faculty positions.
