Ph.D. (Entomology) From OUAT, Bhubaneswar

A candidate who has passed Post-Graduation in the relevant stream from any UGC recognised University with a minimum mark of 65% or OGPA 6.5 in 10.0 point scale may apply for Admission for the Ph.D. degree.

The selection for admission will be based on entrance examination and career marks of the candidates.

The university provides the research facility in the fields of Basic Science, Mathematics, and Microbiology. For the selection in these Ph.D. courses, the candidates need to have the Master’s Degree in the relevant subject and must qualify in the entrance test conducted for the PH.D. courses.

Selection Criteria

OUAT selects candidates for its Ph.D. courses through a common entrance test followed by a viva test. The duration of the entrance exam is of 2 hours having the value of 100 marks. The questions are categorized in multiple choice of 40 marks and short answers of 60 marks.
