MLSU LLB Course Highlights
Before we move further with the admission & shortlisting process, Law aspirants should keep the following in mind:-
- There are 120 seats available for each LLB course, LLB (Three years) & BA LLB (five years) respectively.
- It has been rated 7/10 in comparison to other colleges in state university.
- It is ranked among the top four constituent colleges of the university.

MLSU LLB Eligibility Criteria
- To get Admission in LLB (3 years) Degree course, The General Category Graduate students (120 seats) who have passed from a university in Rajasthan are required to have scored a minimum of 45% from their respective former educational institution.
- The Reservation category students, OBC requiring minimum marks of 42% and SC/ST requiring minimum marks of 40% (300 seats) from any University of Rajasthan.
- The above rule applies the same for 10+2 students (120 seats) who will be applying for BA LLB (5 years) Degree programme.
- Eligibility criteria will require a minimum 60% of marks if the student has graduated from recognized university outside Rajasthan state.
MLSU LLB Admission 2021
MLSU offers a full-time LLB program for a duration of three years. The program has a total intake of 120 students. MLSU is an integral University college of law and it is registered with the Bar Council of India (BCI) and is recognized by UGC & NAAC.
MLSU LLB Selection Criteria
- Admission To LLB Degree course will strictly be on the basis of merit secured in MLSU LET 2021 based on marks scored and cut off within respective category which shall be uploaded on website according to the schedule.
- Examination Centres will be in Udaipur. The information of examination centre and roll number will be given on admit cards which shall be uploaded on websites.
- The entrance test shall consist of 100 Objective Type questions with no negative marking.
- The candidates shall use only Blue/black ball point pen during entrance examination.
- After the completion of the entrance test, the candidates are allowed to carry a question booklet & carbon copy of OMR sheet with them.
- No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall without an admit card and valid photo ID proof.
- The candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination hall after 10 minutes of commencement of examination.
- Carrying mobile phones is strictly prohibited.
NOTE: The Average previous years General category Merit cutoffs have been between 65%-69%. Average Merit cutoffs for OBC (60%-64%), SC (54%- 60%) and ST ( 52%- 54%) respectively.
MLSU LLB: How to Apply?
- The MLSU 2021 Application form will soon be released for LLB Course.
- Firstly, The candidates need to visit the official website of the Mohanlal sukhadia university ( www.mlsu.ac.in )
- The university website will have an ‘online admission’ section which will directly lead to ‘online admission portal’, The students will then find the link to new UG/PG Admission forms.
- The candidate is required to fill the MLSU LET 2021 Application Form and complete the registration.
- The students must login with ‘Application Number’ & ‘Password
- After successful Registration, candidates are required to pay the requisite entrance fee through Credit card, debit card, net banking and E- challan. In the case of E- challan, the application fee can be paid in any Indian bank branch.
- The candidates are required to keep the print out of the online payment for future purpose.
NOTE: No change in application form is permissible after the final submission. Incomplete forms & forms without fee payment will be rejected.

Program Structure
- Course Structure: The University College of law provides proper theory & practical knowledge by engaging in research based projects through problem solving for intellectual growth of students in the legal field. The LLB Degree consist of following:
- There is a Three Years (6 Semesters ) LLB Degree Course for graduates of recognized universities.
- There is a 5 years BA LLB integrated Course (10 semesters) for 10+2 students.
- The year shall commence with the day the university reopens after summer vacation and end on the day the university closes down for summer vacation in the following year.
- Candidates for the LL.B. Second Year Class shall be admitted only on their having passed the LL.B. First Year Examination of this University after having completed a regular course of study.
- Candidates for the LL.B. Third Year Class shall be admitted only on their having passed the LL.B. First Year due papers.
- The students during their whole LLB course are required to complete a minimum period provided internship time under NGO, Trial, legal regulatory authorities, law firms, companies, local self government.
- The required attendance is 75% according to the rules & regulations of Bar Council of India.
- Facilities: There is a well furnished library with legal books and journals which are easily accessible to the students and also, helps in promotion of research culture.

Ques. How many internships is one supposed to do during pursuing LLB in MLSU?
Ans. MLSU requires the students to do internships to update the practical knowledge of law. Students are supposed to do quite a few internships in NGOs, corporate firms, Foundations, with legal solicitors. It depends upon how much the course asks for.
