MGR Medical University B.A.M.S : Fees 2025, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

For Indian candidates:

• Candidates can fill the online application form available at the university website and submit it along with the required fee to complete the registration process
• Candidate must submit the registration fee for application and eligibility certificate of Rs. 1100/- for UG courses and Rs. 1400/- for PG courses through online payment gateway. The application and eligibility certificate fee is non-refundable

For NRI candidates:

• Candidates who have passed advanced level qualification and central board examination in foreign countries can also submit application and eligibility fee amount of Rs. 10,100/- through Demand Draft (DD) in favour of The Registrar, Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai.
• Candidate should be of Indian origin settled in foreign countries or should be born to parents of Indian origin in a foreign country. Candidate seeking admission under NRI quota must possess Indian passport

1. Higher Secondary School certificate Examination Statement of Marks (+2 Course or Equivalent Examination) Degree Certificate.
2. Transfer Certificate

Enclosures for PG Programme:

1. Qualifying Examination Degree / Provisional Certificate -II
2. Completion of Internship Certificate
3. Migration Certificate
4. Higher Secondary Certificate or Equivalent Examination

Courses offered at UG level:

1. Bachelor of Siddha Medicine and Surgery
2. Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery
3. Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery
4. Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery
5. Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Science

Eligibility:

• Candidate must have studied physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Botany and Zoology in his/her 12 years study of Higher Secondary Course Examination.
• Following is the required aggregate in Biology/ Botany and Zoology, Physics and chemistry together for candidates belonging to different category:

• Candidate should have completed 17 years of age on or before getting admission to Indian Medicine and Homoeopathy UG courses.

Selection of the candidates to the above mentioned UG and PG programmes will be done on the basis of marks obtained in the entrance examination, conducted by the university.
