Bachelor of Physical Education [B.P.Ed] From KSWU, Bijapur

Aspirants seeking admission to 2 years Full-time Bachelor of Physical Education [B.P.Ed] program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.

Academic Requirement:

Any graduate of Karnataka State Women's University or of any other University recognized by the UGC and who is physically fit and satisfies the following conditions will
be eligible for admission to B.P.Ed., Degree Course.

a. Bachelor's degree in any discipline with 50% marks and having participated in the Inter College, Inter-Zonal/District/School competition in sports and games as recognized by the AIU/IOA/SGFI/Govt. of India.

b. Bachelor's degree in any discipline with 45% marks and studied physical education as a compulsory elective subject.
c. Bachelor's degree in Physical Education with 45%marks.

d. Bachelor's degree with 45% marks and having participated in National/Inter-University/ State Competitions or secured 1st, 2nd or 3rd position in Inter College/Inter-Zonal/District/School competition in Sports and games as recognized by the AIU/IOA.SGFI/Govt. of India.

e. All the candidates should produce a medical fitness certificate issued by a competent medical officer.
f. The relaxation of 5% percentage of marks in the qualifying examination and in the reservation of seats for SC & ST categories should be as per the rules of the central government/ State government, whichever is applicable.
g. Bachelor's degree with participation in international competitions or secured 1st, 2nd 3rd position in National/Inter-University competition in sports and games as recognized by the respective federation AIU/IOA/SGFI/Govt. of India.

h. Graduation with 45% Marks and at least three years of teaching experience ( for deputed in-service candidates i.e. trained physical education teachers/coaches.)
