IITRAM Ph.D Statistics: Fees 2025, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

The application form for admission to M.Tech and Ph.D. courses can be filled online through the official website of the institute.

• Fill up the application form online provided on the official website of the institute (https://iitram.ac.in/index).
• Click on the admission tab and select the choice of course.
• Register through email id and phone number.
• Fill the application form with all the required information.
• Submit the duly filled form online by following the instructions. 
• The online application is free of cost.
• Send the hard copy of application form to IITRAM along with all the necessary self-attested documents to the address given below –

• Physical verification of documents and confirmation of admission in person on the date mentioned in the schedule.

The institute also offers a degree in Ph.D. at the research level. The eligibility criteria for admission to Ph.D. is to have a Master’s Degree in the concerned or equivalent degree with 60% marks (55% marks for SC/ST) or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology with First class or 60% marks (55% marks for SC/ST).

Admissions are done on the basis of performance in written test followed by an interview conducted by the institute itself. The candidates shortlisted for the interview are required to submit a Research Proposal at the time of Interview. For candidates holding minimum eligibility qualifications following additional credentials are desirable:

• Valid GATE/CEED score.
• JRF of CSIR/UGC/NBHM/DBT or DST INSPIRE Fellowship or UGC-NET Lectureship (LS).
• Minimum 2-year of professional experience, acquired after obtaining the qualifying postgraduate degree.
