A major in biology may serve as a sound preparation for those interested in careers in the life sciences including those who go on to graduate or medical school. Majoring in biology also adds to students’ understanding of the issues concerned with health, the environment, and agriculture. In addition, Bucknell’s biology majors are given the opportunity to become broadly educated “whole” scientists.
