The Computer Science major is a traditional computer science curriculum, mathematically rigorous and is based on the Association of Computing Machinery (ACM) core curricula recommendations. ? The curriculum is designed to be very flexible and allow students to use credits from the Associates of Information Systems and Information Systems Analysis towards this degree. ?The degree is also designed to allow students to use biology courses towards the degree for students who are interested in pursuing a bioinformatics degree in graduate school. ?
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit official transcripts that show high school completion or equivalent
- Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 or equivalent for admissions consideration
- Some applicants will have to provide a course by course evaluation of the transcripts by an evaluation agency like WES
- SAT/ACT score is optional
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 61 in iBT; 500 in PBT
- IELTS: minimum 5.5 with 5.0 in each band
- PTE: minimum 44
- Duolingo: minimum 90
- SAT: minimum 450 in evidence based reading and writing
- ACT: minimum 18 in English
