Course work includes applying the most popular web authoring and information system application tools to web development and the study of professional website management strategies. In addition, current internet technologies, web-programming techniques, and electronic business practices will be studied. Successful students will be able to work in development teams and communicate in the web application arena. Upon completion of the Web Development program, students will:
- Understand the roles of web design and web development,
- Demonstrate ability to administer web sites and domains,
- Demonstrate working knowledge of the differences between internet browsers,
- Demonstrate working knowledge of contemporary, standard driven, HTML and CSS,
- Demonstrate working knowledge of JavaScript along with popular js libraries,

- Work and communicate effectively in a virtual as well as face-to-face team environment,
- Demonstrate working knowledge of web-based graphic design, photo editing, and design layout,

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit official transcripts that show high school completion or equivalent
- Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 or equivalent for admissions consideration
- Some applicants will have to provide a course by course evaluation of the transcripts by an evaluation agency like WES
- SAT/ACT score is optional
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 61 in iBT; 500 in PBT
- IELTS: minimum 5.5 with 5.0 in each band
- PTE: minimum 44
- Duolingo: minimum 90
- SAT: minimum 450 in evidence based reading and writing
