- As students in the middle-level degree program, students take introductory and upper-level courses in specific content areas, as well as education. This combination of education courses allows students to develop strong content knowledge and teaching skills.
- The Education with Grade 4-8 Teaching Certification program prepares students to teach all subjects in grades four through six and to specialize in one or two subject areas for grades seven and eight. Through the academic program, faculty advising, and extensive field experiences, students are broadly prepared for effective teaching in upper elementary and middle school grades. Thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities are developed in critical areas such as instructional planning and delivery, assessment, and classroom management. Academic Eligibility:
- Students must submit their academic records.
- Students' transcript records must include results/marks for individual courses, as well as diplomas or certificates required in their country as evidence of qualification for university.
- If a student's native language is not English, they are required to submit scores of either TOEFL or IELTS to English language proficiency.
- Students are required to submit their SAT/ ACT scores.
