Concordia's Nutrition & Dietetics program is unique not only in that it's accredited as a Didactic Program in Dietetics by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) but the liberal arts are incorporated throughout the curriculum. You'll develop skills in critical thinking and problem solving while you learn hands-on with a class assignment to prepare food for more than 50 people or present a poster at the state dietetics convention. Many nutrition and dietetics students choose to work in Dining Services on campus to learn more about food management.

The program seeks to:

prepare graduates for a practice experience in a dietetic internship to become registered dietitians

prepare graduates for participation in the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics

prepare graduates with experiences of a diverse and comprehensive nature to meet the knowledge requirements of the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics
