Iona College is a leniently competitive university with an acceptance rate of 84.1%. In the recent academic year, Iona College saw an enrollment of  about 3,590 total students out of which 2,959 were undergraduate students and 631 graduate students from more than 40 countriesIona College offers programs in 40 undergraduate major, 40 minors and more than 30 graduate programs.

Iona College accepts applications and accepts international students in the fall and spring sessions. However, for PG programs students are enrolled in five terms for School of Business and in four terms for School of Arts & Science classes.

To get admission in Iona College, internationa applicants are required to have an exceptional academic background with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 and TOEFL iBT score of 80. Due to COVID-19, Iona College has opted to be test-optional, which means that SAT or ACT scores are not required to be admitted to the college.

Admission Deadlines

Visa process for international students

The students will be required to be accepted in the University before they can be given the Form I-20 to obtain their visa to study in the USA, which will be given within 2 weeks of apply. The applicants are required to submit a number of documents in order to apply for the F-1 visa. Once the applicants receive the I-20 form, they must schedule the visa interview with the nearby U.S. consulat.The list of the required documents is mentioned below:

Overview:

They were closer by than other schools with a similar program; and a small knit community. I liked the idea of completing an internship and a thesis before completing graduate school and entering the workforce.

Scholarship:

I receive federal aid, as well as a scholarship for my overall GPA. That scholarship was awarded to me when I applied to the school as a senior in my undergraduate institution.
