The Global Studies major at Lasell has a professional focus, rooted in Connected Learning, that seeks to educate students by promoting self-expression, academic exploration and critical thinking in academic, civic, and career-relevant areas.
- With the Global Studies degree program, the world becomes the classroom as students activate a personal affiliation with and responsibility for the globe.
- Students earn academic credit through service learning that is organized to connect them to the greater community while deepening and enriching their education in their discipline.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- High School transcript (including 1st marking period senior year grades)
- Personal statement or essay on a topic of own choice (250 word minimum)
- 1 letter or form of recommendation (must be from an academic teacher or counselor)
- SAT/ACT scores (optional) Lasell University has a Test-Optional Policy. If the applicants believe on their standardized tests support their candidacy, Applicants are encouraged to submit their scores (CEEB code: 3481).
Indian Eligibility:
In addition to the items listed in the Completed Application Checklist, International students must also submit:
- Official results of the TOEFL, IELTS, Pearson or Duolingo English Test
- Official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended (if he is a Transfer International student)
