A writing major will engage in the practice and study of fiction, creative nonfiction, and poetry. Writing majors explore the works of contemporary and canonical writers from diverse backgrounds to learn about the art and craft of creative writing.?The senior comprehensive project is?a thoughtfully executed critical and creative project exploring a student's writing in one genre. It is?evaluated by a faculty team, and outstanding projects are recommended for Honors in the major.
