We introduce students to the discipline through ethnographic material, the use of interpretive theory, and individual and collaborative research pursuits. Students are encouraged to construct individual programs in such areas as archaeology; human evolution; and biological, cultural, linguistic and psychological anthropology.
Classes promote independent thinking and discussion, and students often work alongside faculty members on research projects both here and abroad. Upcoming travel opportunities with faculty members include a semester in Tanzania focused on ecology and human origins.

Academic Requirements:
- Submit official transcripts of high school and other education completed
- Official transcripts must be evaluated by an accredited agency like WES
- Submit a letter of recommendation from counselor or teacher
- Submitting SAT/ACT score is optional
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 79 in ibt; 550 in PBT; 213 in CBT
- IELTS: minimum 6.5
- Duolingo: minimum 100
