You?ll be prepared to become a health professional in public health sectors at the local, state, national and international settings. You?ll have the skills?to plan, implement, and evaluate health programs in schools, community health centers, health care organizations, and work sites. And, you?ll know the educational strategies that support healthy decisions and lifestyles.
Graduates work to encourage health-conscious living by focusing on the individual and the influences that affect a person?s health.
Students also may pursue teacher licensure through the health education certification concentration.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit official transcripts from secondary or high school with proof of graduation
- Official transcripts must be evaluated by any member of the NACES
- Applicant must have completed following coursework: 4 years of English, 3 years of Maths, 2 years of History or Social science, 3 years of lab science, 2 consecutive years of foreign language
- Submitting SAT/ACT score is optional
- Submit one academic recommendation
- Submit one personal statement about yourself
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum score of 69 in iBT
- IELTS: minimum score of 6.0
