About this program:
This Computational Operations Research (COR) program is strongly interdisciplinary; it is offered by the Departments of Mathematics, Computer Science, Applied Science, and Public Policy. University offers the following degrees:
- A Master of Science (M.S.) in Computer Science with specialization in COR.
- A concurrent Master of Science (M.S.) and Master of Public Policy (M.P.P.). Students can simultaneously earn their M.S. and M.P.P. in three years.
- A Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in either Applied Science or Computer Science specializing in COR.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Applicants must have a minimum of sixteen years of schooling and an earned degree equivalent to a U.S. bachelor’s degree.
- M.S. applicants are expected to have a strong background in mathematics, science, or engineering.
- Applicants should have the ability to program in at least one computer language.
Indian Student Eligibility:
- Graduates of three-year postsecondary programs in prestigious international universities may be well qualified for admission to a graduate program at William & Mary.
