International Student Visa Process

International students require a J-Student visa to study in an accredited US institution or university or to study English in an English language institute. Before applying for the visa, students must be accepted by a US institution certified by Student Exchange and Visitor Program (SEVP). Once a student gets accepted, he/she receives Form I-20 or DS 2019 to present while applying for a student visa.

After this, the SEVIS fee must be paid and a visa appointment should be made with the US consulate.
