Visa Requirements
The International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) of Coles College of Business helps international students in getting a student visa to the USA. Students who have been selected at the college will receive an admission letter. On receiving the letter, students need to submit the required documents and request the college to issue the I-20 form.
Students need to submit the financial documents in form of official bank statements or a letter from the bank which reflects a balance to cover the tuition, living, food expenses, etc. while staying in the USA. The I-20 form is then issued by the college. Students can contact the US Embassy in their home country regarding any details on the visa.
Documents required for a visa application include:
- A valid passport
- Proof of visa application fee payment
- Payment receipt of SEVIS Fee
- Admission letter from the college
- I-20 form issued by the college
- Academic records
- Proof of English proficiency
- Proof of financial support, if any
- Other required documents as asked by the US Embassy
Visa interviews are held in the home countries of the students, at the U.S. embassy. Interviews are held and biometrics are collected as a part of the visa process. Students can get their visa interview scheduled with the Embassy and complete the visa process.
A stamp would be issued on the passport by the Embassy after clearing the visa interview which is a visa to enter and study in the USA.
International Students must consider applying at least 4-5 months before the deadline to allow enough time to obtain a U.S. Visa and travel to the USA. Applying before the deadline also increases the chances of the student receiving financial aid.
Other than the TOEFL and IELTS, Coles College of Business admission process also entertains other English tests such as EIKEN, MELAB, Cambridge CAE, Cambridge CPE, and UK GCE A-Level. The test which the student has given can be mentioned in the online application form, and later, mailed to the respective addresses.
Coles College of Business within the Kennesaw State University provides exciting prospects for students all over the world. Do apply well before the last dates to not miss out on any opportunities.
