The philosophy of the Center for Nurse Anesthesiology?is to develop competent nurse anesthesia professionals who understand their evolving role and recognize their significance in the health care delivery system.?Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs), who provide?nurse anesthesia services should demonstrate sound professional, moral, and ethical standards in practice, as well as?demonstrate?accountability?for the quality of services they provide.?They must be prepared to assume leadership roles in the profession of nursing and nurse anesthesia, and be knowledgeable about factors that influence their practice.?Active participation in assessment of the patient who undergoes a surgical procedure, anesthesia management, research, and education provides the perspectives required for contemporary nurse anesthesia practice
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Applicant should have completed a bachelors degree in nursing
- Applicant should have a verified and registeres nursing license in US
- Applicants should have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or equivalent
- Applicants should have experience in critical nursing care for 2 years
- Submit three letters of recommendation: one from nursing manager, one from current supervisor, one from undergraduate professor
- Submit a CV
- Submit a 500 word statement
- Submit GRE (150 in quantitative and verbal and 3.5 in analytical writing) scores
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
