Offered me in-state tuition and school spirit. My sisters both went here and I got in the state for my major not being offered in Maryland, my home state. WVU is also a very tight-knit and full of opportunities.

Course Curriculum

8

I enjoyed it a lot. I felt GECs were necessary to teach you more outside your major. My curriculum for my major allowed me to understand both strategic comm like advertising and PR as well as editing and writing.

Exams

SAT, also took several AP exams and earned credit for my university courses like world history, economics, and English.

Placement

8

Morgantown is in a niche area of the country, making job placement and opportunities very rare until graduation. I got a job easily from knowing many alumni and faculty members who wanted to help me succeed.

Internship

No, my college did not provide an internship for me. It did provide internship opportunities for people within specific fields, but mine didn't for the school?s positions. However, my professor did help me get one.

Events

9

Commencement was a very big deal, both spring, and fall but more so in the spring. Freshman move-in weekend is a huge event within itself. Fall Fest is a concert at the beginning of the year with a free musical guest for students to see in concert.

Fees

My in-state tuition was &10,000 with books, room, and board and dining being 4,000. Scholarships are available though!

Scholarship

Yes, I applied for FASFA and received that aid. I also applied for scholarships with WVU and I received one by applying online and visiting the office.

Examination Structure

The exams were half Scranton, half booklet. I felt that the ones I had to write out more, I got better grades on because I really knew the info. But the other exams I just memorized answers so I didn't truly learn.

Faculty

9

I think they are insanely personal but in the best way for college students. The faculty feel like family. They are helpful, insightful and prideful in working at WVU.

Hostel

8

I lived in a dorm at first and then served as a resident advisor in a dorm that was on the other side of campus mine. Then I lived off campus for the next two years with roommates! I lived in a law school hill and downtown.
