My fascination with science propelled me to choose Biotechnology for my under graduation. I decided to further study this course in detail by majoring in the medicinal side of biotechnology. I then started hunting for MS in Medical Biotechnology which was offered only by a few universities in the United States and the University of Illinois at Chicago was one among them.
Course Curriculum :
The course is related to my field of interest. Laboratory work training gives exposure to handle equipments and reagents.
Exams :
My scores were 306 on GRE (verbal 148 Quants 158 ) and IELTS 7.5. These were the exams given by me for applying in the US.
Placement :
Our department has a record of 100% placements every year. Many seniors have also taken Ph.D after their master's.
Internship :
No, I didn't get any internship.
Events :
Brought up in India, the US education seems to be different and the campus life is amazing.
Fees :
$65000 for two years including living expenses.
Scholarship :
One time Scholarship $3500.
Faculty :
Faculties are better at explaining concepts. Project works and publications are excellent.
Hostel :
Graduated students are requested to rent and stay in the apartments. House rent is 1800$ including utilities and is shared by the roommates.
