Greta Rimdziute Review at University Of Illinois [UIC], Chicago | Collegedunia

UIC a journey to remember

GR
4.5 /10

I chose university of Illinois at Chicago because it was fairly close to home (I commuted about 3 hours a day every day) and the education was fairly affordable compared to the other colleges close to home.

Course Curriculum :

The curriculum was pretty challenging in all of my classes and very very hard in some. The ones that I had a hard time was with some of the professors.

Exams :

I took the ACT back in high school, but unfortunately, I do not remember my score. In college, I only took the necessary midterms and exams for all my classes.

Fees :

Tuition included paying for teachers, the facilities, computers and computer labs, CTA passes were given to all students. Do not remember how much each thing was.

Scholarship :

Yes, I had financial aid. I would have to apply and wait for it to be granted to me. Each year a different amount was given.

Examination Structure :

It depends on the class. Some had midterms. Some did not. All had exams. Some classes the professors would let us bring a cheat sheet. Some times it would be the size of a notecard and other teachers would let us bring a full size of printing paper.

Faculty :

Half of the professors were nice and really seemed like they cared about their students. While the other half seemed like they did not want to be there and made the class as hard as possible.
